Shopping for a car in Cedric

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Questions to ask

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

A car meanwhile

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Honest about distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Cedric. At about 2,596 km from our location in Toronto, Cedric is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

For buying in Cedric, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Cedric, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
