Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

Auto Loans in Cherryvale: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

What to check before you buy

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
