Buying a car in Chicora

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Before you plan

CarmaCars has no branch in Chicora. We rent from one location in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Chicora is roughly 1,582 km away.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Chicora? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you want to check something for Chicora, send a request; a person replies honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
