Buying a car in Clay

Shopping for a car in Clay? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Before you sign

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Before you plan

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Clay. Clay is about 2,114 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Clay? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. A request about Clay gets an honest answer from a person. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
