Buying a car in Coit

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Before your next car arrives

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Where we work

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Coit. Coit lies about 2,053 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Coit? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Questions about Coit? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
