Shopping for a car in Colima

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Checks worth doing

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

While you shop

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

What we can do for Colima

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Colima. About 3,550 km separate our location in Toronto and Colima, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
