Auto Loans for Collins

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Before you plan around us

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Collins. About 1,620 km in a straight line separate Collins from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Collins? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Unsure? Send a request about Collins, and we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
