Buying a car in Conch Key

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Questions to ask

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Our area

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Conch Key is outside the area we serve. The distance is about 2,114 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Conch Key? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you want to check something for Conch Key, send a request; a person replies honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
