Auto Loans in Cook

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Cook, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
