Buying a car in Corette

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Bridging the gap

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Where we are

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Corette is outside our area. From central Toronto, Corette is about 2,521 km away in a straight line; we deliver within about 80 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Corette? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. A request about Corette gets an honest answer from a person. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
