Auto Loans in Cornell, CA

Buying a car in Cornell

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

A buyer's checklist

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.
