Auto Loans in Crestline, CA

Shopping for a car in Crestline

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

While you shop

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Before you plan
