Auto Loans in Crossroads, LA

Shopping for a car in Crossroads

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Crossroads, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Checks worth doing

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

A car meanwhile

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
