Auto Loans in Cuba

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

Where we work

We do not have a location in Cuba; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Cuba is about 1,267 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

For buying in Cuba, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Cuba if you like. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
