Shopping for a car in Cuba

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Checks worth doing

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Distance, honestly

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Cuba. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Cuba is about 3,041 km away.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you are unsure whether we can help with Cuba, ask; we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
