Shopping for a car in Cushing

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Checks worth doing

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

A note on distance

There is no CarmaCars location in Cushing; everything we do starts in Toronto. At about 691 km from our location in Toronto, Cushing is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you need in Cushing, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Your move

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
