Buying a car in Daltons

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Checks worth doing

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars has no branch in Daltons. We rent from one location in Toronto. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 644 km, Daltons is outside that.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
