Buying a car in Delphi

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Delphi, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

A Toronto company

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Delphi. Delphi lies about 705 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Delphi, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Still have a question about Delphi? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Ask about renting first, and buy with a clear head.
