Buying a car in Dew

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Where CarmaCars works

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Dew. Dew is about 1,987 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Dew? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Dew if you like. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.

Ready when you are
