Buying a car in Dodds

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Our area, and Dodds

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Dodds. With Dodds about 1,478 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Dodds, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Still have a question about Dodds? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
