Auto Loans in Downs

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Buying smart in Ontario

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.

What we can do for Downs

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Downs. About 3,040 km in a straight line separate Downs from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Downs if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
