Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

Shopping for a car in Durango? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

What to check before you buy

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Where CarmaCars works

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Durango. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Durango is roughly 2,775 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Durango, send a request; a person replies honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
