Auto Loans for Edgar

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

Before you sign

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
