Shopping for a car in Edgemont

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Before you sign

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Before you plan

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Edgemont. We rent from Toronto. With Edgemont about 1,966 km from Toronto, it is outside the 80 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Edgemont? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. A request about Edgemont gets an honest answer from a person. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
