Buying a car in El Datilón

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

Our area and El Datilón

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. El Datilón is outside the area we serve. By straight line El Datilón is about 3,554 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

For buying in El Datilón, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Ask us about El Datilón in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
