Buying a car in El Progreso

Shopping for a car in El Progreso? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

A buyer's checklist

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

The short answer for El Progreso

We do not have a location in El Progreso; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. About 3,265 km separate our location in Toronto and El Progreso, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you are unsure whether we can help with El Progreso, ask; we answer plainly. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

When you know your dates
