Buying a car in Elaver

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Questions to ask

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Reach and distance

We do not have a location in Elaver; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. About 1,196 km from our location in Toronto, Elaver is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Elaver? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you need in Elaver, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
