Buying a car in Elimer

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

A buyer's checklist

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Where we work

CarmaCars is not in Elimer. Our one location is in Toronto. The distance is about 775 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Elimer, send a request; a person replies honestly. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
