Shopping for a car in Embarrass

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Before you sign

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars is not in Embarrass. Our one location is in Toronto. About 1,092 km in a straight line separate Embarrass from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Embarrass, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Questions about Embarrass? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
