Shopping for a car in Equality

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Before your next car arrives

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.

What CarmaCars covers

Equality is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. About 966 km separate our location in Toronto and Equality, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Equality, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
