Shopping for a car in Erwin

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Between cars

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Distance, honestly

Plainly: we do not have a location in Erwin. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Erwin, about 2,074 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Erwin? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Send a request with what you need in Erwin, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Over to you
