Buying a car in Ethridge

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

What to check before you buy

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Where we work

We are based in Toronto; Ethridge is not somewhere we have a location. About 2,565 km separate our location in Toronto and Ethridge, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Shopping in Ethridge? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For buying in Ethridge, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ethridge if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
