Shopping for a car in Eugene

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

The short answer for Eugene
