Shopping for a car in Fairmount

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Our cars reach Fairmount by delivery, or you collect one from us in Toronto for free.

Before you sign

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
