Buying a car in Fairview

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Before you sign

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Honest about Fairview

Fairview is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Fairview lies about 962 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Unsure? Send a request about Fairview, and we answer plainly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
