Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Bridging the gap

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Honest about distance

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in First Ford. Measured in a straight line, First Ford is about 736 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about First Ford in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
