Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

A buyer's checklist

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

While you shop

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Where we deliver

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Flanders. With Flanders about 384 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Flanders, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
