Buying a car in Flatwoods

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

A buyer's checklist

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Bridging the gap

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Reach and distance

CarmaCars is not in Flatwoods. Our one location is in Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Flatwoods is roughly 693 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Flatwoods, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Flatwoods, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
