Buying a car in Fleming

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

Where we are

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Fleming. By straight line Fleming is about 1,821 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Send a request with what you need in Fleming, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
