Buying a car in Fontas

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.
