Shopping for a car in Forest Junction

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Questions to ask

Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.
