Buying a car in Ganges

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

A buyer's checklist

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Before your next car arrives

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Renting from Toronto

Our only location is in Toronto; Ganges is outside the area we serve. Ganges lies about 417 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ganges if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
