Shopping for a car in Garner

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

While you shop

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Our area, and Garner

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Garner is outside our area. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Garner, about 1,624 km away, is beyond that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Tell us what you are planning in Garner, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Over to you

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
