Buying a car in Glen Echo

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

While you shop

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Where we deliver

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Glen Echo. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Glen Echo, about 561 km away, is beyond that.
