Buying a car in Grace

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

Before you plan around us

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Grace. By straight line Grace is about 2,619 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Shopping in Grace? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Ask us about Grace in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

When you know your dates

Tell us the model and the dates, and we reply with an offer.
