Buying a car in Gravity

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Before your next car arrives

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
