Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

If financing for a car is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

CarmaCars and Greenview

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Greenview. About 3,529 km in a straight line separate Greenview from central Toronto; our delivery stops at about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Greenview, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
