Buying a car in Greer

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Our area, and Greer

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Greer. Delivery covers about 250 km around Toronto; Greer is about 1,284 km away.

For buying in Greer, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you are unsure whether we can help with Greer, ask; we answer plainly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
