Shopping for a car in Groton

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Between cars

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Where we are

Groton is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Groton lies about 1,499 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Groton? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Groton, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
