Buying a car in Harmony

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

A buyer's checklist

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Bridging the gap

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
